Softbridge started with a mission of outsourcing software projects from Japan to India. Like many other companies, we experienced many problems and failures and soon realized that it is not so simple. But from the experience we realized in order to create mutual success, we need to better understand each other from various aspects but most importantly from an underlying cultural perspective that comes only from personal interactions and education.
Although, the India-Japan relationship has many historical ties, it is only recently that India has come in the spotlight. We believe that India can help in overcoming many of the current problems facing Japanese corporations in regards to shortage of human resource capital, education and globalization of its employees and reduction of development costs. In return, India can offer a large market for Japanese products, technology and services.

Prashant Jain プロフィール
マサチューセッツ州立大学（Umass）理工学部コンピューター学科卒。
インド ウットラプラデイッシュ州生まれ。10歳時に父親VKジェイン氏（工学博士）の米国大学教授職勤務に伴い米国ボストンに移住。以後米国の教育のもと大学を終了。Umass在学時に交換留学生として北海道大学にて短期日本留学経験をする。
‘89年Xenergy, Inc.（ボストン）にソフトウェアエンジニアとして入り働き始めるが日本文化と日本のビジネスに興味を持ち、‘90年日本サイテックス社（イスラエル画像処理会社の日本合弁会社）に参加。日本で勤務しながら同社のマーケテイングマネージャーとしてイスラエル開発部隊、ヨーロッパ及び米国のマーケテイングチームとの連携業務、コーデイネーション等で世界中を見るチャンスを持った。
‘93年サイテックス社子会社のLeaf Systems, Inc.（ボストン、世界初のデジタルカメラバックの開発製造会社）に転出し、同社でマーケテイングマネージャーを担当。‘95年再び来日して東洋インキ製造株式会社に入社。オンデマンドデジタルイメージングシステムアジアPte., Ltd.〔シンガポール〕にてGMとしてアジア地区を担当し活躍する。
‘99年Engage Technology, Inc.（インターネット広告配信ネット会社、ボストン〕にて国際市場開発部長を務め、その後Lion Bridge, Inc. マーケテイング戦略部長の職に就くが‘02年３度目の来日を果たし、同年6月に現ソフトブリッジソリューションズPTE, Ltd．を設立。
以後、代表取締役社長として全社の経営を行い‘03年ソフトブリッジソリューションズインド、‘05年ソフトブリッジソリューションズジャパンを設立し、現在に至っている。
